New dental practice opens in Traverse City

Tim Wentzloff, a local dentist, wasn't shy about taking the leap and opening his own practice recently. The good doctor recently purchased the Traverse City dental practice of Dr. Daniel Cote and renamed it Rose Street Dental.

The office, located at 876 East Front Street, offers care for the entire family, including routine check-ups, cleanings, fillings, crowns, bridgework, dentures, whitening services and emergency care. Need a tooth removed? They do that, too, along with root canals.

Wentzloff, who is a native of Beulah, earned his dentistry degree from the University of Michigan and previously worked at Traverse Dental Associates and is the son of Dr. Dale Wentzloff, who practiced in Frankfort for many years. He is accepting new patients.

As a University of Michigan dental student Wentzloff received the Academy of Osseointegration Student Achievement Award and the Dr. Frank Smith Memorial Award in Removable Partial Dentures. He earned his bachelor’s degree at Michigan State University in 2005 where he graduated with high honors in human biology.
