Charlynn McBee is the new tour director at
Castle Farms of Charlevoix, according to an announcement from the farm, historical attraction and wedding venue.
McBee comes to Castle Farms from her previous job as marketing manager of Bluegreen at Boyne, and also has been marketing manager for the mortgage division of Chase Manhattan Bank. She has extensive experience in promotions, event coordination, work with nonprofits and leadership in marketing.
She is a Michigan native and an Indiana Tech University graduate with a degree in marketing. She now lives in Boyne City. McBee follows previous tour director Peggy Kusina.
"I'm thrilled to be a part of the Castle Farms team and this beautiful historic property," McBee says. "It's difficult to ignore a castle. People see one, and they're naturally curious. Northern Michigan is a four-season playground, offering visitors a variety of recreational activities and fascinating sites to explore. I'm excited to work with the local business community in actively promoting the Castle and Charlevoix the Beautiful."
