The
Garden Café and Wine Bar in Torch Lake is welcoming guests with some new changes on the menu.
OK, so not just the menu; there's a lot more than that happening at the café and wine bar this summer. It's located at Pine Hill Nursery on U.S. 31, which has always allowed super-fresh ingredients and a beautiful view to be part of the café experience.
Now, beer and wine are part of that experience, too, as the café celebrated a re-opening featuring local craft beers and wine from WaterFire of Torch Lake, Antrim County's first commercial vineyard.
New hours also are a recent addition, meaning a dinner menu is now offered thanks to a new outdoor kitchen with grill and wood-fired pizza oven. The Garden Café and Wine Bar is serving dinner on Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays throughout the rest of the summer season. That means the new hours are 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday through Wednesday, and 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. Thursday to Saturday. The café also takes group orders, special orders and carry-out orders, and hosts special events.
