Northwestern Mutual in Traverse City has hired on three new financial representatives recently.
Tiffany Maleport, Derrel Kent and Craig Baas will be full-time financial representatives associated with Northwestern Mutual of Traverse City and Sault Ste. Marie.
The new hires are part of an ambitious recruiting goal from Northwestern Mutual: in 2014, the Traverse City office aims to add eight new representatives and five college interns, all with the goal of building a qualified, educated financial workforce in the field.
The company says the push for more employees is in response to growing demand for financial guidance, products and services.
