Smith Haughey adds new attorney

Smith Haughey Rice & Roegge is adding a new attorney to its practice in Traverse City. Gabriel Marinaro will be joining the firm's labor and employment group.
 
Marinaro will advise clients on employee benefits, executive compensation, and the latest news developing on those fronts including the Affordable Care Act, and will work out of Smith Haughey's offices in Ann Arbor and Traverse City. He works with companies, nonprofits and other organizations, municipalities, and individual executives.
 
He earned a bachelor's degree from Eastern Michigan University and his law degree from Wayne State University. He is also certified in taxation and employee benefit law through the Georgetown University Law Center.
 
The Grand Rapids-based firm also has offices in Muskegon and has more than 85 attorneys and counselors on staff across Michigan.
