The annual
Taste of Traverse City festival, which draws foodies from all over Michigan and the Midwest to the area, has a new home for this year.
The 2014 festival will be hosted by the
Grand Traverse Resort and Spa just outside Traverse City in Acme. The three-day Taste of TC will take place over Labor Day weekend, August 29-31, and includes several public events.
On Friday, things start off with a "Grub Crawl" through downtown Traverse City; Saturday will see the Taste of TC main event and a formal "White House Dinner" created by a former White House executive chef; and Sunday finishes up with a brunch at the Hagerty Center.
