It's not unheard of to cross Lake Michigan from Wisconsin to northern Michigan in a boat, but on a stand-up paddleboard? Five guys are planning to do just that.
Excerpt: A group of Northern Michigan men are trying to raise $10,000 to benefit environmental stewardship and conservation of the Great Lakes by stand-up paddleboarding across Lake Michigan.
Andrew Pritchard, Kwin Morris, Jeff Guy, Joe Lorenz and J. Mueller plan to embark from the Wisconsin shoreline this weekend and stand-up paddle-board the approximately 60 miles across Lake Michigan to Frankfort.
